About the Knights of Columbus

Service and Charity

At the Knights of Columbus, we are a Catholic fraternal organization that stands for charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Since our founding in 1882, we have been dedicated to helping others in need, whether it be through charitable donations, volunteering, or simply being there for our fellow Knights.

Our organization has a rich history that is rooted in the Catholic faith and in the principles of chivalry and service. Our founder, Father Michael J. McGivney, envisioned a brotherhood of Catholic men who would come together to help those in need and support each other in their faith.
Today, we continue to carry out his vision through our many charitable works and community outreach programs. As a Knight, you will have the opportunity to serve your community, grow in your faith, and build lifelong friendships with other Catholic men who share your values.

Whether you are interested in volunteering at a local soup kitchen, raising funds for a worthy cause, or simply attending Mass with other Knights, there is something for everyone in the Knights of Columbus. Join us in our mission of service and charity, and discover for yourself what it means to be a Knight of Columbus.
