Success at St. Polycarp Church’s Blood Drive!

We are thrilled to report the triumph of this year’s Blood Drive event! Not only did we meet our anticipated target, but we exceeded it, showcasing the strength and generosity of our community.

Representatives from the Red Cross, with Demi Nguyen at the helm, have conveyed their profound appreciation for the impressive turnout and results. Our collective efforts led to a commendable collection of 27 units of blood! Of these, five were the special “Power Red” donations, each equivalent to two units. It’s heartening to see the participation not just from our parish members, but also from our friends and neighbors in the surrounding community.

A special note of gratitude to our brothers, Art Diaz (and his dedicated wife, Andrea) and Tony Votendahl, for their invaluable contributions as donors. Their spirit of giving is truly commendable.

We cannot forget the unwavering support we received from Tom Ma and Father Peter. Their assistance and the accommodations provided were instrumental in the smooth execution of this event.

It’s important to recognize the relentless efforts of Ralph Gonzalez in organizing this event. His dedication and hard work were pivotal to its success, and for that, we are truly grateful.

Together, in unity and brotherhood, such events highlight the essence of our community. It’s a testimony to what we can achieve when we come together for a noble cause. We look forward to many more successful collaborations in the future.
